Version Update to address reported resource allocation problem

A problem was identified where memory requirements for the SQLLink Service would steadily increase over time. This issue has been addressed and no other changes have been made in this version.

DataPipe 3.07.030 released

Version update to address reported issue in prior versions, no new features.

A problem was identified under certain scenarios where some data cells did not update properly. A new version of DataPipe Server (Service) and Client are available. This version (3.07.030) was included in the recent Moxie 6.10 release.

KB134: Minimum recommended hardware and operating system requirements for Moxie

Summary

Omnivex Moxie is powerful software and the following hardware specifications are the minimum recommended in order to provide a responsive and consistent experience.

Display systems tend to increase in complexity as users become more experienced with the software and the network matures. As a result, we recommend exceeding the minimum requirements so that content you develop in the future can still be accommodated by your hardware.

KB157: You can’t start the Moxie Player or Studio applications because the local Moxie Agent service won’t start

Symptom

When you start your Moxie Studio, it appears to be unregistered and you cannot connect to the Omnivex Moxie Data Server.

When you manually try to start the Omnivex Moxie Data Server service or the Omnivex Moxie Agent service from the Services window, you see an error message.

Cause

Your services can't start because the Windows Event Log is full and not allowing your service to write new events to it.

Moxie was developed using Microsoft's .NET Framework to take advantage of the graphical functionality in several areas including transparency, rotation and reflection. In order to install and run Moxie on your PC you need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4. This software is available from Microsoft, both through Windows Update and as a direct download from their Website.
