Summary

Moxie uses TCP/IP for the communications between Moxie Data Server or Data Proxy and Studios and Players. This communication is used to move content items between networked Moxie applications, send content to Players and provides a reliable conduit for other internal data that Moxie uses.

By default, each application on your Moxie network; Studio, Player, Data Server and Data Proxy, communicates with the Moxie Agent using localhost via port 2292. By default, each application that communicates with a Moxie Data Server or Moxie Data Proxy uses port 2293. If the Moxie Data Server has been configured to use a dedicated port for transmitting DataPipe cell data, the default port used is 2294.
