Summary
This article provides information to clients that have purchased in-house training session services from Omnivex and need to travel to Omnivex' head office in Concord, Ontario in order to attend.
These recommendations are based on our experience as a provider of this service and should be considered as guidelines when preparing for travel to your training session.
Travelling to Omnivex
It an effort to minimize the effects of unforeseen travel delays, it is recommended that in-house training participants plan their travel period so that they:
- arrive the day before the first day of the in-house training session
- depart anytime after 6 PM on the last day of training
Pearson International Airport (YYZ) services the greater Toronto area. Omnivex is located in Concord, Ontario, which is just north of Toronto and is approximately a 30 to 45 minute drive from the airport. The length of time to and from the airport can vary greatly based on the time of day as traffic congestion is common during the morning and evening commute. You should plan accordingly to accommodate this variability.
Note: In-house training participants are responsible for their own travel documentation. Before your trip, ensure that you have the necessary, valid documents for travelling to Canada and returning home.
Typically, the training session occurs in our corporate head office in Concord, Ontario.

Omnivex recommends The Hilton Garden Inn, located across the street from our office. We have arranged a corporate rate for our training session participants. Training Session Information
Participants are asked to arrive between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM, as training sessions start at 9:00 AM and run to 5:00 PM each day. All participants should bring a laptop computer with Windows installed. Ensure that participants have Administrator level access on the laptop computer so that they can install and configure the applications and services they need for their training session.
Omnivex requires that a Purchase Order (PO) and payment are received prior to the training session in order to secure spaces.
We reserve the right to limit the training session to 10 participants in order to maximize the session's value.
Omnivex training sessions are geared toward providing a hands-on experience for participants. If there are any specific projects, issues, scenarios or applications to discuss, ensure that you bring the details to the training session and the Trainer will endeavor to include them, with examples and a discussion, during the training session. Alternatively, please forward any specific topic requests via e-mail prior to the training session.
Omnivex recommends business casual attire. We want you be comfortable so that you can get the most out of your training session. As a courtesy, we suggest that mobile phones are turned off or set to vibrate during the training session. Scheduled breaks are provided so that participants can attend to other matters. Lunch is provided.
