When you try to launch your Omnivex application from your Windows shortcut, it doesn't run.
Typically there are two reasons why this would occur:
Any data that you have entered from your DataPipe Client disappears from your DataPipe Server when you close your Client application.
A new version of DataPipe Server has been released to run as a service in the latest Microsoft operating systems. We will no longer offer an application version of the DataPipe Server. This release is supported on Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012 (DataPipe Server), Windows 7 and Windows 8 (DataPipe Client).
